| Steve Lohse grew up in Bellingham, WA and was first published in Der Hamster, a now-defunct weekly that was run out of town for publishing a picture of a vagina. Since then, his writing has appeared in Seattle Weekly, Stringtown, Letter X, and Muzzle, amongst other journals. He is also a playwright, with work produced in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Bellingham. He would like to note that the piece included in this magazine is intended as an homage to Bukowski, and not a blatant rip-off. He lives in Seattle with his wife and their three cats. |
